DAVE BENNETT'S "TRIBUTE TO BENNY GOODMAN"

Michigan clarinetist, twenty-six year old Dave Bennett, with his penchant for wire-rim glasses, spats, and double-breasted suits, transports listeners back to the time and mood of Benny Goodman's 'swing era'. In his Goodman Tribute, Dave and his band have worked out harmonized riffs and ensemble parts, famous from the original Goodman recordings of the 1930's and '40's. Along with Paul Keller (bass), Doug Cobb (drums), Tad Weed (piano), Jim Cooper (vibraphone), Hugh Leal (rhythm guitar) and Carol McCartney (vocals), they entertain their audience with Goodman classics such as "I've Got Rhythm", "Moon Glow" and "Stompin at the Savoy" to name a few. If you're a Benny Goodman fan, you won't want to miss this tribute.
